Stunning. How is this man even real?

I have this on my iTunes, yet I never knew it also came with a video. Indeed, this man’s talent is quite unreal.

Dave Brubeck Quartet Take Five

This might’ve been that song that you’ve always heard but never knew the title and artist.
For me, this is that tune.

I’ve never actually watched this show, but the theme song just begs me to do so.
And to boogie.

“The Price is Right Theme” composed by Sheila Cole

Your homework for today: stand up and dance to this.

Extra credit: dance to this with a partner while looking directly into each other’s eyes and not smiling not even once.

Biru (Acoustic).
Anda.
In Medio.

One of my favorite local acts from back home, this simple performance gives me chill just listening to it. This particular song of Anda’s has this somewhat airy dramatizing feel to it.

Have always dig chord progressions like this.

So Far From Me.
Brett Dennen.

The weather has acted on my body and mind, looking at the emotional tumble ride I’ve been having lately.

Yet, this post proves that a hopeful tune/good songwriting can do me good for a pick me. This tune does just that.

multialteregos:

(…) Today I walked without you
Like an empty bottle drifting out to sea
I would change it if I knew how to
But it don’t come that easily

If my heart wasn’t such a jungle
Maybe you wouldn’t feel so alone
If your heart wasn’t such and ocean
I wouldn’t sink like a stone (…)

I have yet to meet another
Who burns bright as you
I’m not looking for any other
I only want you

Between Sheets.
Imogen Heap.
Ellipse.

I don’t think I’ve been a listening to a lot of music for the past week or so. Yet somehow I only wanted to listen to this song all the time.

Maybe it’s the cold reacting to my body and mind somehow.

Fever Dream.
Iron and Wine.
Our Endless Numbered Days.

Another tune was set to the background of my slumber trip last night. I literally had Iron and Wine as the soundtrack playing in the dream itself.

Another thrilling yet laid back dream I had.
DFR right after this.

For My Father.
Andy McKee.
Art of Motion.

I had this tune on repeat while I put myself to sleep the other night.
Another undeniably lovely and touching composition by Mr. McKee. His work never cease to amaze me.

The Vaudeville Smash.
(Single available on iTunes)

Now kids, this is the good kind of Smash which should be the talk of town. If you haven’t listened to them yet, you’re missing out. Big time.

With catchy hooks and “live shows that’s gonna f#@k you up”, the Melbourne based band is a definite hook.
